Building a Legacy

Our Journey
Originally founded in 1998 as Solid Grounds Coffee House and hosted at St. Stephens United Methodist, Solid Grounds has long been dedicated to serving the community through music, connection, and hospitality. After closing its doors at St. Stephens in the winter of 2023, the vision was reimagined and reignited in 2024 as Solid Grounds Music Café. Now located at the Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living, it continues its mission to provide an inclusive space where all are welcome—a vibrant gathering place that celebrates diversity, fosters connection, and enriches the community through the universal language of music.
